tion Committee has sponsored a periodic survey of ACBSP members regarding the
internationalization
of curriculum and study opportunities available to students and faculty. In 2009, this survey was expanded to include
members of CLADEA and HACU. Janis Petronis, chair of the Global Business Education Committee and professor in the
College of Business Administration at Tarleton State University, has conducted the survey for several years and will share
the 2009 and longitudinal results.

lations Conference
with this Opening Plenary Session. Introductions of special guests, sponsors, and a
speaker addressing a
topic important to attendees will begin the conference.
This Closing Luncheon features Matt Leavy, president of Pearson eCollege. He
was previously the
president of the Pearson Education Latin America Group and has held positions in
corporate strategy and
technology management both at Pearson and Prodigy Internet. He will explore the current challenges facing online educa-
tion, and discuss the relationship between education and business, including business leadership in early private online
education.
University of the Incarnate Word is organizing this Friday morning General Ses-
sion. The speaker is
Raul Rodriguez, who serves as the Benson chair in banking and finance and distin-
guished professor at
UIW. An international business consultant and lecturer, he has served as CEO of the North American Development Bank
and executive director at the Mexican Foreign Trade Bank. Rodriguez will address global trade trends.
Our Lady of the Lake University is organizing this General Session. The speaker is
Jimmie Flores, assistant
professor of Strategic Management. Flores recently received certification as a Global
Professional in Human
Resources (GPHR®). The GPHR exam focuses on the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully operate in a global
